If You Can’t Have Balmy Weather…

Have a Balm!

The ones pictured in the tins are Peppermint.  They don’t color your lips but are really pretty!  Ingredients are Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Olive Oil infused with Alkanet Root for the color, Castor Oil for a little shine, and 2nd Distillation Peppermint Essential Oil for a fragrance that will make you smile.

Also pictured are two of my most popular lip balms made from a base of Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Coconut Oil with small amounts of lip safe micas for colorants.   They are also really glossy and smell delicious with Strawberry, Watermelon and Winter Clementine fragrances.  Can’t believe they sold out in my first show!  I’ve made a bunch more so please inquire if you’d like one, or visit my next show tomorrow for the Berkeley Ecology Center Winter Craft Fair that’s running alongside the regular weekly Farmer’s Market.

The lip balms are great as hand balms, also, and cuticle softeners.  I also have hand balms with Carrot Seed Oil, Frankincense & Myrrh, Lavender and Plain (unscented).

The Farmer’s Market is great and the Craft Fair has wonderful works by artists with wooden bowls, hand-crafted leather bound notebooks, pottery, hand-sewn aprons, and more!  You should be able to find the perfect gift for a loved one there made by someone local and the music was fantastic!  Hope they have the same band as they did last week. People were dancing with their umbrellas but this weekend is supposed to be sunny.  Don’t forget soaps and balms – they are great stocking-stuffers, hostess gifts, or just a treat for yourself!
